In loving memory of Debbie Thomas

This site is a tribute to Debbie Thomas. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Debbie was a compassionate soul, dedicated to making a positive impact on the world which was reflected in her generous donations to various animal charities & the love that she held for her own animals.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to honour her memory by contributing towards the care and upkeep of Debbie’s cherished companion, Herbie, via a JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/debbiethomas

Her love for Herbie was immeasurable, and your support will help ensure he receives the care he deserves and help us keep him in the family, which she would want.

Alternatively, you can choose from one of the many charities that she donated to.

Your support would mean the world to her.

I am so saddend by the news of Debbie's untimely death. Debbie was my best friend growing up in Bricket Wood & at Secondary School . We kept in contact but our lives travelled different paths after leaving school. I last saw her at her Flat in Ronald Court Bricket Wood. The next time I called round she had moved. I have such lovely fond memories of Debbie - her attempt to teach me to ride a horse ,our holiday to Lloret de Mar when we were 18 & had left school & going to the monthly Boggetts disco in Bricket Wood Scout hut to name but a few. She was always full of life, smiling and happy & a very talented artist completing her A level Art in a year. My Dad who woukd go into St Albans on Market days & shopped at Marks & Spensers would make a point of finding Debbie to have a chat. Both my parents passed away 5 years ago but were very fond of Debbie. I thought about about Debbie over the years especially when I passed her old flat and wondered where she was and hoped she was happy. A few weeks ago I went through all my old photographs and came across some old School group photos in which Debbie appeared in a few . I shared these with some school friends I still see on our What's app group who knew Debbie from school and we reminisce. I expressed my sadness of losing contact with Debbie and resolved to try and find her. This I did Sunday 25th February and was do deeply sadden to read about her passing in such a traggic way - life can be do cruel & unfair. I have shared the link with School friends who knew Debbie. Reading the coments on both sites I can see Debbie was much loved by all who knew her. On behalf of her old School friends I wish to express our deep condolences to Debbie's family ,friends & acquaintances . She will be greatly missed by all.
